About Tres
Owner of C3 AIR LLC, Tres graduated from the University of Oklahoma with an B.S. degree in Aviation Management. Tres has been flying since 2004 and teaching since 2007. Tres was able to work as a flight instructor at a accredited part 141 flight training program with the University for 2 years before moving to his hometown of Burnet, TX.
Working with former DPE and Master CFI, Ken Wittekiend with ProMark Aviation Services for more than a decade, Tres gained quality teaching skills and has had the opportunity to work with dozens of pilots with over a 90% first time pass rate for their check rides. Tres served in the Texas Army National Guard from 2010-2016 as a Fire Support Specialist "Fister" with the 36th Combat Aviation Brigade and was able to serve in Operation Enduring Freedom.
With over 3000 hours teaching and more than 5000 total, Tres has taught Sport Pilot through CFI and specializes in tailwheel and seaplane training both basic and advanced.
